I very much share your feelings on Pokemon. I can see myself having a deep, special fondness for it even when I am a middle-aged adult with kids (though probably in secret...). Is THAT weird?

Anyway I loooove this style here, the coloring is so...I don't know an exact adjective but it reminds me of airbrushing, and clouds or something. Very sweet.

(yeah if only I could find wild Bulbasaur on ANY route <_< )

Hooray for PKMN Blue owners!
And hooray for this nice looking picture of all those wild Pokémon living out there!

The colors fit to the scene and gives one the impression of going through woods.

Too bad we can't capture #001 like this, not to mention Pikachu which was one hell to capture in B/R/G due its extreme rarity

I actually feel the same. I've been playing pokemon since Cristal (but watching the anime before that) and it's the thing I like to spend the most of my free time (whatever playing or drawing or writing about them)
Talking about your draw... it's just so lovely! And you used watecorlors! That makes this much awesome that already is xD

I feel the same way you do about Pokemon :'3  Getting into it during the "craze" of the first generation was just awesome.

And I love your illustration!  I really like seeing pics of pokemon in *the wild*, lol.  This has some nice depth to it, it's fun to look at :3 
but it makes me wish yet again that they would do a Pokemon Snap sequel for 3DS ;_;

I reaaaaaaally love this painting, so so much! Really glad I got to see it in person and up close yesterday, the coloured pencil over the top was an excellent idea! That rough crayon-y texture it makes is amazing!! And of course, I love the way you use pen and do shading with little lines, my favourite method as well heh XD

But overall just love the peacefulness of this drawing, and how you added in Pokemon all over the place. I WISH we lived in a Pokemon world, WHYYYY!!

It has been for me too, although I was older when I started with Blue. And I don't own every game, I didn't play a lot of the side games. Although I must say I am a big fan of Pokemon Snap and the two Pokemon Stadiums <3

Yes, I'm there with you. Red and game boy color were my seven year (or eight?) birthday gift and there was no returning. I don't think I would be artistically where I am now if it wasn't for this franchise and I wouldn't have met any of you guys without it. Not to mentions hours of hours of good childhood gaming memories.

WOW        EVERY GAME WOW       THAT'S AWESOME    

the first pokemon game    (actually I want to say first ACTUAL video game  not those little hand held games could sometimes get in your kids meals at mcdonalds    BUT the first ACTUAL video game I ever played)  was pokemon red version         I was    5 or 6      AND I'm pretty sure that there were other games out BUT   I never got to play them    and the next game I played was diamond then saphire then black then heartgold then white 2 then X       sorry about rambling like that

Pokemon is the reason I love (and got addicted) to videogames. And I can thank it all to Pokemon Ruby~ I had Pokemon Crystal as my first Pokemon game, but I never really got hooked until later. So many fond memories....
