Description
my vision of merlin the wizard, advisor and friend to arthur pendragon better known as king arthur.this is my first ever oil painting done way back in 2003.enjoy : )
ps : i've blown this up to a bigger size and added a few embellishments just for fun... thanks for looking

the asian look wasn't intentional but my art is highly influenced by anime art and films as well as mythology of all kinds.merlin from what i've read was just that a part of nature. glad you enjoyed my take on him

I love how the viewer can feel the power of Merlin's magic emanating from him in this picture. You should paint with oils more often, Lee. Good stuff!

i haven't really painted anything in 2 years. 3d keeps me pretty busy but i've got more of my paintings to post.stay tuned.
