Hmm I don't think she looks snottish, just more in a state of awe. Maybe there's a large dragon that just appeared in front of her?

Wow I love the hair and outfit design, though. I tried a character with a brown top/skirt before, and it looked so plain. Here however you made it look beautiful by adding the detailed green on them, it makes her character seem to have status. I think you did well on this image, I like her.

I really like the lines, the colours the costume and just, the design of her! Where did you get the idea for her? You must have a lot of historical influences!

Is this drawing/colouring completely done in Photoshop? Like, not a penciled/inked drawing that was later scanned, but done all in the computer?

hmm... i do do some historical costume research... but not much and i don't think i did any at all on her... she just sort of happened... i think was a bit of an inspiration though...
... and you're right... i first did the drawing and inked it an the scanned it... but i always cathegorize my stuff that i color in photoshop like that..^^'

Well, when you draw from your imagination, your mind sifts through whatever you know or saw and helps you to come up with new things based on that information. All it takes is for you to awaken it -- and that could just mean drawing even a small part of a drawing to plant the seed for it to grow on paper. Anything you expose yourself to becomes a part of your imagination.

Hmm... okay, so your workflow is more analog/digital, whereas although I can draw on paper to a passable degree, my work nowadays is totally paperless. I have to think harder about how the workflow for the collab. I don't want it to be one of those collabs where one person draws and the other person inks and colours -- we both have strengths that go beyond that and I'd like to see those used -- it'll make for a better picture for us both to be proud of later!
