the sky, lighting, and textures of the building definitely are hte good points of this photo. it is a very beautiful scene. but, the composition seems a bit to tight. a few steps back or zooming out a bit would seem to help a bit. dunno just an opinion. but wow the texture on the roof is great.

Wonderful picture. I love the rays of the sun in the back, and the way the roof line of the building sort of leads your eye right to them. The contrast is great. I hope I'll be able to take pictures this good in the future.

Very well captured, and an excellent perspective was thrown on the scene from the point where you stood. Great shades of gray, and the darkness emphasizes the depth of the clouds. Lighting effect is interesting...combined with the clouds, it makes for a magnificent view. Great job!

This is an absolutely beautiful capture. The rays of light descending upon what seems to initially be an old building, reveals it to become a sanctuary of sorts. The contrast and tones work beautifully here as well!

Wow I find it hard to believe that that is not manipulated. The lighting is so awesome (and probably really rare!) Almost reminds me of the Gladiator type imagery.

Fantastic shot! The extreme contrast gives the scene a dynamic, explosive effect that's just breathtaking. It reminds me of one of those magic moments when the sun is shining brightly but it's raining at the same time. The rays shining down from the clouds give the scene a spiritual, biblical feel, and I can almost feel the thunder in my bones. This picture, with its depiction of the forces of nature looming over and around abandoned buildings, serves as a reminder that we're only visitors here, and that forces much greater than we are will continue to shape the planet long after we're gone. Great work!
