Description
The expression (a mixture of disgust and repugnance) with which this charming lady is “admiring” her “big leg” says a lot about her feelings towards her new 'footwear'...
The lady has just finished her daily therapeutic walk and is resting, sitting on the steps of a staircase, with her heavy plastered leg resting on the handrail.
The staircase, not even by chance, is the same one where the beautiful lady heavily slipped, earning this not very coveted knee-high white rocky-hard boot...
The very same staircase that leads from the landing of the house down to the street, the same staircase that the beautiful lady has climbed and descended thousands of times, so many times that she practically did it with her eyes closed.
A pair of high-heeled shoes, her hands busy holding her handbag and some small packages, a bit of healthy distraction (because "I know every step of this staircase by heart…"), the steps damp from the rain and.... and the damage is done!
In the coming weeks she will (that's for sure) walk down that same staircase with much, much more care... She will no longer descend the steps two by two, but will proceed with extreme slowness and caution, leaning cautiously on the handrail and, above all, placing her plastered foot very carefully on each step before descending with the other foot.
Only in this way will the beautiful lady be able to avoid having to sit with both legs in plaster on the handrail in the near future...
