I was thinking along the lines of the princess for Luigi.
But come to think of it... Mario volunteering as a hostage to free his brother?

all of them are possibilities, it just depends on the one bowser will take. but judging on the situation, and the fact Luigi's gagged, Bowser's NOT gonna hold up his end of the deal, probably will take them all prisoner.
