Description This is one of my failed attempts at making Two Elemints , a fractal in the style of Zueuk's Two Elements . At first, I thought that since the pieces of Two Elements moved smoothly past each other, the fractal must be based on a Loxodromic Mobius transformation (link ). However, I found out that you have to place the pieces manually over the repulsive fixed point in this kind of fractal, which makes it so that you can't easily apply additional variations to these points until they pass through the origin (hence the shift). I found out later that Two Elements is based on an elliptical Mobius transformation anyway (with skewed pieces). I haven't really tried to figure out the curl variation yet, but it seems like this kind of thing may be possible with curl. Does anyone know why curl works the way it does, or if there is a source that may help in understanding how it works?
