Applejack, the second character of the Mane Six from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.Made with acrylic yarn, plastic buttons, felt, thread and polyester stuffing.
Approximately 7" x 4.5" x 10" (18 x 11 x 25 cm).

Quick question- why do you have a distinct line between the muzzle and the rest of the head? I've noticed this in your other ponies too and I'm wondering why you do it that way.

The way the pattern works is the head and the muzzle are two separate pieces to make stuffing the head and sewing on the eyes easier. The line you see is the stitching of the two pieces. Having it in two separate pieces helps give the nose more definition rather than being a giant blob.

Oh, that makes sense! I always have to stop and sew on the eyes before the decreases in the head, but I see what you mean about the nose thing 
Do you know any other useful pony-crocheting techniques? I've done lots of other amigurumi, but I've only made 1.5 ponies so far. Any advice you can give me would be much appreciated

Hmm...Don't overstuff is always a good rule of thumb for any type of plush. I'm still guilty of doing that sometimes. 
And when you're attaching on the legs (if they're standing), always spend the extra few minutes making sure the feet line up and rest on the ground. If I'm rushing, my ponies will end up with one leg too short, haha. You'll know if the legs are lined up correctly if your pony can balance perfectly on just three legs.
Otherwise, a lot of what you'll learn is through trial and error.
