Description I wanted to make an oil painting and this is how it turned out I really like it.

EDIT: It isn't the best quality, because it is a photograph. The original is a bit less dark at the bottom.

the colours are really beautiful together. Also Also I love the angle you used to portray this fishy in all its glory! Indeed the idea of scales is finely executed! Great job!

It's lovely, very eye-catching. I admire the skill of people who can use minimal detail but still put a very strong image across.

I love this colour scheme.. And the way you used short brush strokes on the fish to imitate scales, and long strokes in the water, making it look like he's moving.

Yeah thank you I love using the brush strokes to imitate things, because I am not that good in making small details in oils. But I like this way of painting

Oooh, I think this is great! Love how you can still see the brush strokes. Plus great colours as well.

How long did it take to dry by the way? =3

Thanks Yeah I like the texture as well and the bright colors.

Hmm, my guess is that it is still wet I haven't tested it yet, but usually it takes at least a few days to dry I think
