Description Since Palev didn't get a pride flag for the big lineup. And drawn sans shirt because I enjoy drawing boobies, can't help it (it's also fun to draw him smiling now and then, though he still looks mean, haha)

I hope you don't mind me asking, but did he/she Β turn from a man into a women or women into a man? (sorry if my English sounds strange I didn't know how to word thatΒ )

No problem, it's often difficult to know how to word questions like this since it's so hard to judge what phrases are appropriate or accurate when talking about trans people (and the bar is different for everyone of course)

Palev is a "he" who was born with a woman's body but then around 3 realized that he was a man (and was stubborn enough and had good enough parents to be able to dress and act like one)

Wow he decided he was a man when he was only 3! Kid's got some determination!Β (and thanks for understanding my vague questionΒ )

Ahaha, no problem And yes, kid did have determination! But the seeds of Palev being trans started when I read something about how lots of native cultures had looser ideas of gender and sexuality than we do now, so I decided that I wanted it to be something he knew early on (since the struggle of identification often comes more from pushing against what society is telling you to be than from what you actually are; ergo, if society lets you be who you are, then it's not a big deal to figure it out) So it was important to me that it not be that important to him because he's lived with it so long and not had people question it. It's a thought experiment for what it means to be trans in a society where it's not taboo. (and it makes sense anyway since their patron deity is a gender-fluid lesbian)

Truer words have never been spoken! And it's quite interesting that native cultures not only have looser ideas of gender, but that their own deity is a gender-fluid lesbian! Would the gender-fluidity of their deity happen to be a starting point of their loose opinions on gender and sexuality?

Well that's the fun of making up a culture, I can make the societal components into whatever I thinkΒ  is interesting And yes, the non-conformity of Luna is the starting points to their ideas (though they're still very afraid and often hostile to other things that are different, especially as their timeline moves to the present day, things like foreigners and magic (after a series of misfortunes in which their last shaman and nearly all his family was killed in what looks like magic circumstances, the people took that as a sign that their goddess was angry with them for using magic and started turning on anyone who used it) because i like the idea of societies that are both really accepting and really un-accepting at the same time)

The smol angry ones are the best ones? I don't know why??? It's like the condensed hatred just makes you feel a sense of kinship and then they are also smol so it's cute.

Super-powered rage in a pocket-sized container! I think it might have something to do with "rooting for the underdog" thing too XD Cuz smol angry peeps are usually the ones getting the short end of the stick, and you want to cheer for their fight! (even if it's against nothing....ESPECIALLY if it's against nothing)
