My little houseguest has started to trust me, and we've been going on little adventures. It's not easy reading while she's sitting on my book like that, but she refused to have her tea on the ground.
(This picture is actually painful for me now. This is the creek behind my apartment building, a place I truly love and was one of my sanctuaries of peace. But the city has started doing construction on it now, driving their bulldozers straight through the creek bed, destroying all the little waterfalls and I don't even know what's happening to my minnows. So not only am I assaulted by the painful construction noise right outside my window (even normal noise is often too much for me), now the spot where I took this picture looks like this )
