Description
I entered this into 's Color Me Lineart contest. I used her drawing for lineart, so credit goes to her. I don't usually do much anime, but I decided to try something different for fun!

I use the lasso tools in Photoshop to select certain areas in the picture. I copy and paste the selection as a new layer. Then (while the area is selected), I use gradients to change the colors. Afterwards, I make adjustments in hue, saturation, and brightness/contrast as well as utilizing layer effects.

Thank you. I was experimenting with different textures and gradients. It was fun trying out all the different kinds that Photoshop has to offer.

Maybe I should ask my uncle to give me a new edition of Photoshop. He works for a computer company, so he can get pretty much any software for free.

He gave me Macromedia Flash MX. I haven't used it much recently, but it is cool to have. I think I will also ask him for Microsoft Office 2010. I have Microsoft Word 2010 Beta, but I think it's only for a limited time, and all my files are saved in .docx files that I won't be able to open soon!

a total of ten items, five themed doodles, themes are Moby Dick, The Masque of the Red Death, Communist Manifesto, Toy Story, and your favorite food. Two poems, one a comedy the other a tragedy, and three happy fruit people scripts ^^. dates to turn them in are from now till 1 am on the 28th? any question's or out burst's? ^_^

I'm sorry, but I think I'll be too busy this week. I'll be spending it working on my research paper, celebrating Thanksgiving, having the little time that I get to spend together with my boyfriend. Plus, my family is emotionally exhausting me.
They're all great ideas. I can try to work it out over a later deadline. I'll have plenty of time after my final. I think I can manage to create a least one Happy Fruit People before the holiday week is over.

I hate Virginia Woolf. (It's written by Michael Cunningham, but it's about Virginia Woolf). Damn you, Virginia Woolf!
