*lack of creativity for titles* |DCollab with I can't believe this is our first collab. It is the first one, right? o.o I would've thought we'd do one of these earlier. Mm, oh well.
Goooosshhhh. I freaking loved coloring this. I'm not used to such details, so it was good practice. And Emily drew them all so well~
The only thing I really had problems with was choosing colors. Throughout the whole thing, I was all like "I should make so-and-so this color. WAIT. NO. THEY'RE GOING TO CLASH WITH THIS PERSON. GAAAHHH. WHAT COLOR GOES WITH THIS?! NOOOOOOO! UGUUU!" Crazy stuff. |D

But back to the drawing. You are so freakin' amazing, Shii-chan. ;w; You turned my ugly, scrappy picture into something marvelous. ;___; You made the lineart all silvery ! How'd you do that ?? o.o You need to teach me. XD I seriously love how your smooth colouring looks on my lineart. ;^; It's just so pretty and rawrawrawrrrr. D: And your shading looks so realistic, especially on Suki adn Akki's shirts. And you made the eyes so bright and shiny and just beauuuuutiful. I love the combination of cell-shadind and soft shading, by the way. I think that's marvelous.
Derek's glasses make me happy. XD I'm so glad you could figure out they were sunglasses @w@ And the same with Suki's blue hair and lace on her shirt XD; The colours you chose for everyone is also quite awesome. They totally suit them and the outfits and kyaaahhh @w@ I think my favourite is Amai's outfit X3 I was really curious to see what colours you'd choose for her and I freaking love them. <3 Especially the colour of her ribbon.
Your backgrounds are the shit, Shii-chan. They are just filled with so much win and just too amazing for words. I love the different colours corresponding to the... subject...person in the foreground, whatever. [All my art class terms are coming back to me TwT;;] And I really love how you did the name things. <3 I hope you didn't think that was too stupid of me to put there. XD;;

I thought you've done one of those 'changing the lineart color' things before. o.o Or maybe that was just Photoshop linearts? Anyways, I WILL teach you one day. 8D Just ask when you want to put it to use. :3
How could I not figure out those were sunglasses? Or lace. .o. Dereck's wearing sunglasses half the time. And I guess lace was something I would expect out of you. xD;; Honestly, I didn't know what colors to put on Amai. I was saying to myself, "Amai's favorite color is yellow and blue-green. But she's already got so much yellow/blond with her hair in the picture. One of Dereck's favorite colors is yellow, so....blue-green. OH. DARN. BLUE-GREEN CLASHES WITH YELLOW." And then I continued talking to myself about colors. |D;; Eventually I gave into pink even though Amai isn't a pink lover. (Or hater for that matter. I just happen to put her in pink a lot. |D;; )
We definitely need to do this again. Probably when I'm not art blocked. |D;;

I only know how to colour photoshop linearts ;^; I know how to colour tradish linearts but you can see through it BD;; You should teach me some time o3o Because we should do another collab only you draw XD Because I've always wanted to colour a picture by youuuu >3<
Lmao, I hate when I have arguments with myself over colours because it goes on foreverrr XD But it sounds like it'd be fun to listen to you thinking/talking to yourself about clashing colours XD
