Aka the happy elf. One of my fave characters from Tolkien Legendarium. I shamelessly ship him with anything that moves and have a whole tone of unspeakable head!canons about him. Also on tumblrRelated content

Have you ever considered doing a tutorial? This is so incredible, I'm in love! I've always wanted to learn how to do stuff like this but I have no idea where to start. Simply perfect, the best art I've seen in this style.

Aww, thank you so much for such kind words and praise! If you like this style, you might want to check out the works of Morgana Wallace, Brittney Lee and Yutaan, I think they are much higher quality, the shapes are more synthetic and the color sets so balanced.

Very beautifull! I like how the shadows show and create 3D athmosphere. You haven't use glue, have you? Also these different materials... And I really adooore the way you have painted his skin

Thank you again ) Yes, I have used glue, a lot of it, actually, all the details are glued on, including the tiniest beads. I use transparent glue and it holds it together very well.

Aww, thanks! ))) Not very big, a bit smaller than A4 paper size, this one. I have a few that are a5 size and two that are slightly less than A3.

Not exactly how Tolkien probably imagined the 'Friend-of-Men'. Like all of the Noldor in exile, he was a warrior as ruler of Nargothrond.

No, you didn't, it's been a long time since I was ruffled by things like that. But all the same, I find it pointless myself to tell any artist of how I think they should imagine/draw this or that character or that their way doesn't coincide with what I think is canon. Just as I find it pointless for fanfic writers to only do penance-writing and stick to the canon. There are so many ways creative people can celebrate the works of their favourite writers, why should they be limited in anything? Rethorical question, you don't have to answer that ))
