The ridges of almonds look like the folds of the human brain.
Those are good almonds, but the best almonds have shallow to no ridges and a really dark texture to them(very earthy, like soil but not). These were harvested earlier than they had to be, given enough time to mature in their shell they lose all ridges. Not sure why some are earth soil-like as opposed to others,

they do?! well i just ate a bunch of almond cake so my memory should be as good as an elephants haha
