yay, I used my amazing non-existing "Fairy Tail" knowledge to make this comic.

Speaking as someone who (sadly) has read both FMA AND Fairy Tail I can say without hesitation that Fullmetal Alchemist is the better than Fairy Tail.
In the respect that a giant, majestic, stalion made of diamonds, is better than a dung heap. Not worth comparing the two now that I think about it.

I agree because the plot is repetitive, here is the plot.
1. They party
2.Oh no! A evil person came
3.Yay Natsu saved the day!
I still like the show but I prefer fullmetal alchemist brotherhood.

hmm I don't think the story is that bad, but then again I haven't read it. I don't know the plot, but since it's popular it's gotta have something enjoyable.
But yeah FMA is waaaaaay better xD

Trust me, the only reason it's popular is because 85% of the female cast have busts the size of ripe cantalopes, and they all end up dressing up in fetish outfits, or in the female lead's case 
I know people give Kishimoto and Kubo a hard time and are looked on by most people as sexists considering what they make most of their females do, IE: Nothing, or fanservice.

OH YEAH! that's one of the things I know sort of irritates me without actually reading Fairy Tail. The fanservice.... -___-; it's just... sigh...
This is why I like Arakawa, she actually creates awesome female characters without them having to show of their bodies in that fashion.

Not that I'm against fanservice, again there are people who can pull it off tastefully depending on the subject matter. 
1. She is a strong woman who like to use her sexuality to her advantage to manipulate people (mostly Sanji 
2. She literally has absolutely no shame and the story uses that for COMEDIC effect, at the right COMEDIC times.
Now that's how you do fanservice RIGHT!

I'm going to have to disagree with your example, if only because Nami is a poor character and I often want to hit her (but I always have that rage to all the characters). And with Fairy Tail sure there is a lot of fanservice, but I see the females as characters more than just their bodies.
Now of course FMA is far above many manga... but in my opinion it doesn't get any lower than One Piece.

What characters? All of the cast of Fairy Tail are just old cliches of anime that have been pulled off a LOT better in other shows. Seriously, name ONE character in that thing that doesn't feel like a ripoff of something else.
Sorry had to get that hate out of the way.
But seriously, don't diss the One Piece man. I don't know if you actually bothered to read it or not, but despite it's MASSIVE length, it's a manga with true heart going for it.

.... Well I am one with hate for One Piece, I've read it and it's the bottom of the barrel. I don't see this true heart, as those characters are so dumb that anyone with brains can beat them. Seriously half of the "pirates" can be defeated with just a supersoaker filled with sea water.
I gave it a change and it failed big time, why do I still read it? Maybe I want to see how worse it gets and it has never made any turn in my view that makes the series likable.
