randomly did a pen doodle of sasha looking all disturbed last night. it was vcl's fault. if you go to vcl and arn't disturbed there's probably a great deal wrong. anyways. redrew it today and markered it up w/ some prismacolors. i like how the shading on her skin turned out. her hair is something of a failure. howell. she's saying MONKEYS! because vv suggested it. damn monkeys.okay, back to bday pics i owe people!
seriously people. comment if you're gonna fav. the monkeys she's yelling at? they're YOU.

iiii use printer paper, generally. I'm cheap like that. cardstock works better, though. That probably doesn't help much, but thank you!

This is the first time looking through your gallery and this is the one of the pics that caught my eye. I like the highlights and the facial expression. Also the shading. Shading is the thing I like best about drawing. I think that almost no matter how bad a pic might look, once it is shaded it makes it look a thousand times better. For this picture I give it a 5 out of 5. Simply perfection!

You're great with expressions - she definately looks disturbed. You shade with markers very cleanly... I always end up over lapping in places I don't want to, messing up the shading. Especially on bigger face shots.

I love how VCL seems to be where a mass of preteens exploit yiffy art. Secondly, the hair is definitely not a failure.
And lastly, no one reads descriptions - you have to love how your comment/fav ratio is like 50/60 right now, and you KNOW that not every person that comments actually favs it, either.

awesome. take-it-or-leave-it-crit: the eye outline behind her hair makes her face seem busy and the image less realistic. just a matter of style-choice I guess, but I though you might like an opinion.

That's quite...random. though after devwatching you for a while, I notice that you do a lot of random things. by the look on her face I can just imagine a trio of monkeys breaking in to her fridge and eating all of her ice cream sandwiches, and this being her reaction when she catches them. That's just my take though.
