Oh lord when I first saw the stock I used for this vector I fell in love! Such emotion and beautiful features that it inspired me instantly...I think I'm a bit obsessed with wet lips lately LOL!!

I agree...the purple is distracting and I've known it for some time. I'll be changing it once I can dig up the original (it's on disc now). I was thinking a subdued or deep red might tie it all in a bit, what do you think?

Well, if you want to use a color I would stick to one of the colors you used in her mouth and I'd indeed probably go for the red. You can also choose to leave the eyeshadow completely so the the focus of the illustration is entirely on her well rendered mouth

Glad you like my work, I haven't really had much time for it as of late but well, I try to do what I can when I can...you know? I've been meaning to get back to you on that journal of yours regarding turning something into lineart from pencil, etc...it's pretty easy to do manually, scan, and vector over the source. Doing it automatically however, that's another story...it's pretty much the same but it's a bit more difficult for some people to understand how to control the bezziers and anchors on their own. Perhaps another time we can go into the finer details of the art?

Then TELL ME HOW! It looks so phenomenal! I did a similar something or another of myself. 'Cept I didn't trace over the picture, and it's got a major watercolor effect. I dig it. It's in my scraps, check it out.

Yeah you know...you grid over your original image, then convert it to another surface basically copying by hand. Make sense?
