Description
Long time no new Tolkien illustration and so I had a painting deficit.Foud this picture of Altai mountains: photo from this website and suddenly it was clear that an Ossiriand landscape is about to appear on the paper.
I'm not sure which of the seven Ossiriand rivers do we see in the picture, but definitely not Gelion
The only certainity are the Blue mountains, Ered Luin, at the background Watercolour on A3/A4

I am absolutely enchanted by how soft those grassy hills look. I just want to stroll through this landscape and lie down in one of the valleys close to a gurgling stream...
