I was saving my V costume to go up with my new site, but balls to that-! I'm having a not so great work day and it isn't even 10am. I could really use a little distraction from reality about now! (Plus, I think the only people who actually go to my website are my parents and a few friends who get a hoot out of it- can't say I blame them).

Costume made, worn, photographed (and hilariously badly photoshopped background) by me. Whoa that building behind me must be weirdly shaped to have windows all over the place that look like that!
The day that I took this, I got all set to take photos (insert a few hours of tripping over scissors, fabric, lightstands, and attempting to put on makeup to make it look like I haven't been pulling all nighters for a week) and took a few shots to test the lights - when - oh joy, wait for it. My camera battery, flash batteries, and laptop just all came to the sudden decision that they'd had quite enough of me and died. What are the odds? Anyway, I felt pretty put out after that, and was just happy to find that one of my test shots turned out sort of usable.

I had everything to make this costume sitting around in the workroom and just sort of got it into my head one day that I wanted to make the costume. I don't know what's more sad- that the apartment has a workroom or that there are so many unmade costumes sitting in it.
