oh the acorns here have been dropping for awhile already butternuts too the squirrels have been very busy i think we are gonna have a bumper crop of everything this year with the mild summer and just the right amount of rainfall believe not only the squirrels but the local farmers are loving this years abundance

We've been catching all fruits ahead of time here! I've made two batches of strawberry jam already, and we used to only catch strawberries later in september. We're having a draught though, all over the country...it's been a wild fire season with the winds and no moisture!
The grape catching should happen in a week or three too, if you wanna drop by and give a hand 
We used to use accorns to feed the pigs, when they ate natural food and not ration.
But now it's a fashion here in Portugal, to invent recipes with accorn mash and stuff, apparently it's very good. I've never gone to one of those posh restaurants...to try pig food lol
