Great-It'll turn out pretty--He's got great eyes.   And thanks again Sometimes color is overrated though--No lie  Black & white (or gray) can look so sharp, classy and clean--I love it.

you're right about that, Misha's eyes are really nice to draw, ngl ah I see what you mean though... I lack skills with color I think, but I really love b&w drawings too because you have to think in terms of brightness and contrast instead of color tones.

I still lack skills in color. Lighting is hard. I tend to go all artificial/cartoonish with my skin-tones. Nobody is really orange after all, except maybe Paris Hilton or something.  I guess part of it has to do with the fact that I can't really mix white with these markers--Not really. I learned to use color while painting actually, so coloring with markers has been a challenge.

God, I love black and white!

ah I don't think so, I actually think you've got a great eye for color! but yeah brightness and contrast is hard, no matter what your skills are... I find it difficult to color skin too, ugh... especially when there's a different lighting (at night for example). oh but I admire you for using markers! o.o I mean, you can't do any mistakes or else, your drawing will look all screwed up so kudos! and yay for b&w!

Thanks so much! I do make mistakes though...ALL THE TIME. But, they're alcohol-based, and they do make blender markers, and blending fluid, which is what I use to erase. It doesn't always erase fully, so that's when I bust out the white ink... You might want to try b/w/gray alcohol-based markers for fun. Copics, and Prismacolor makes them as sets I think. I prefer the warm gray set that prismacolor sells. I usually get it online at Amazon.com if it's on sale  One downside to them I guess would be the fact they they usually bleed or show through a bit to the other side of the paper, and I use thick paper too, so...

No problem  Prismacolors are good, but copics blend & erase better--Just so you know

Thanks! Yeah, I guess the reference photo is from the same photoshoot the guys did together--So the blue light, and the cage background was a running them in all the photos they took.
