It was late in the evening - perhaps seven o' clock, or maybe half past six - it made very little difference as the cousins walked through the idyllic neighbourhood enjoying the early evening summer. Getting any sun in Denmark was quite the revelation hence they had decided to take a long stroll to wherever they ended up. Maybe it would be one of the town's many parks which would no doubt end up with Steve falling out of a tree again. Steve was jabbering away as usual, sometimes allowing Bob to get a word in edge ways, yet as they turned the corner Steve stopped hard in his tracks with a look of astonishment in his eye. He slapped his head and Bob grinned wondering what he'd forgotten this time.
"Åh, for fanden!" Steve squeaked and before Bob could ask what on earth he was being over dramatic about this time Steve had spun on his heel back towards where they came. He paused to wait for an explanation as the small silhouette darted off into the distance.
"I forgot beers and ice cream!" Steve called back. "Stay there! I'll be right back!"
Like Bob had a choice. Before he knew it Steve had disappeared and a gentle chuckle escaped Bob's smile. This was a regular occurrence on their walks and Bob often wondered whether Steve would remember his brain if it wasn't attached to his body. Carefully he sat down on the stone wall and proceeded to light up a cigarette. Normally he'd be the one to remind Steve to remember refreshments, keys, where they lived but he'd been getting less and less sleep as the days went by and his own memory was beginning to leak. Still, the few minutes Bob had of peace were an absolute pleasure. Not that he minded his hyperactive smaller cousin but silence, as they said, was golden.

This was hard to draw. This was as far as I got before my elbow packed in. Experimenting with colours and that. Yay.
