Description Papaver, poppy
Papaver is a genus of about 100 species.

in Greek mythology the poppy was associated with Demeter, goddess of fertility and agriculture.
People believed they would get a bountiful crop if poppies grew in their fields, hence the name çorn poppy'

thank you very much.
I used a telelens (300 mm) which gives this blurred effect, and the other poppies where at quite a distance from the one in the foreground.

I took a look at your gallery and the first thing that strikes me with your photo's is that you take them from above.
Try taking pictures at eyelevel, get down on your knees of belly .
And don't make pictures in the sunshine, the shadows are always way to harsh in a photo.
