Heh another owl, I really love to paint them.This one took me quite some time, but I enjoyed painting this one really much (:
It's usually a double page from my new sketchbook and this is only the right side, on the other one is only a bit more of the background, but maybe I'll upload a photo of the whole painting if I have the time. I still had some coffee from my previous painting, so I included it here in the background. On the light parts is one layer of coffee, on the darker parts up to five layers. Heh it's always a pleasure to work with coffee, because it smells quite good while painting xDDD The rest was mainly done with watercolors, except from the armor and gear-weels which were painted with special metallic acrylics. I also gave the wings and some other feathers a touch of gold, but it's hardly visible here.

This is amazing, I love the detail in the wings, you can see the gold a little, its a really nice touch. And love the use of coffee for the background, haha, it works very well
