What I really like about this town is the rebuilt or reuse of the original watch tower from a ruin to something useful, yet it still hold the possibility of great mysteries and antiquity. That is a feature that need to be included in more maps in general, I believe.

Very nicely done. The layout of the buildings is very natural looking and gives the hamlet a sort of sleepy feel. Putting the watchtower on higher ground makes the layout seem more realistic and also adds some height variation to the map making it even more natural. I can picture rolling farmland just outside the view in the image, and the roads trailing off in the distance.
I can also picture this hamlet being attacked by a troll and all the people barricading themselves inside their homes, or possibly running to the watchtower for safety as the troll pummels the little rooves in!

Thank you, John. Not your level of quality, but I do pencil drawings very rarely.
I should indeed think about a story for the next piece!
