I love eyes at all. You may see 'third eye' (the indigo one) in my avatar.. and eye is also on the most of my works..
You're buddhist or some way related with (or interested in) Tibet, it's people, culture or thoughts? (I don't think these mostly extremistic 'free Tibet' organizations..) Or just like the symbol? I'm wearing on my backpack 'the eternal knot', asian symbol (and tibetan) for happiness or luck But I have it also as a symbol of some my interests.
The basic thought was that this should be not only portrait of myself, but symbolical portrait of every (human) being.. That behind any mask we are the same eternity, mind, timeless space..if you understand. Oh I see I forgot to write it into caption..
So what you see as not-fitting? (if not that the mask has woman face) Maybe I can improve something

Yes I'm very attracted to the way they live and think. And there are many things I can learn from it. The ohm has been a great inspiration to me. Also buddhism is something I try to understand (I believe I can never understand it in the world I love now) and buddhism is giving me a special band with my mother.
And yeah, I also simply love these less-known symbols

I understand... Very good hmm I don't know if anything has to be improved, but what I mean is that I'm just not build up on the way your drawing is. Maybe you should see some things that I have drawn in the past. (I haven't drew for a long time... can't find the time these days )

I hope you can see it, normally it's open for everybody. What I want to say is that your drawing fits me, but I'd never draw myself that way. Your drawing fits too many people, and I just don't feel like being that way. Also I'm not so symbolic... I don't know! hm but I like thinking about it.

you can allways tell me what you think of my drawing, personally I'm not so wild about it.

Yea, me also.. I have a few tib friends, my dream is to travel to Eastern Tibet (Kham), I'm into buddhism,.. hmm you may visit my web to know more.. (it's also myspace -link on my profile - If you want we may be friends there. )

I ment to make this as portrait not with the way it is drawn, but with what is behind the symbols, in this combination. I wanted to catch the nature of every human.. in my symbolical way. The mind, consciousness or how you call the base in every being.. or maybe you think that anybody has some individual spirit..
Yea I like thinking about symbols and 'mirrors' in life.. the way things are..
I like the ornamental way you draw. And you have good ideas really.. And good unusual site design

One day I hope to be in Tibet too, and regions like Goa are really interesting me too! Just documenting the life in there is a dream of mine. Please feel free to add me on myspace! but I must say I'm not active anymore (I used to be).

Catching the nature of every human. That is well said! You succeeded imo. Yes I think my 'vision' on this is different, hm, I think when making a portait I want to look more individual. But that also makes a wrong view on someone. [link] this drawing for example is based on an experience in my life, so it could be called a self-portait. You'd say I'm very depressed from that drawing, no? . Maybe your vision is less based on emotion but more on basic structures of the human mind. (correct me if I'm wrong) and so it fits for a lot more people. Damn I like it!

Oh, I have more ideas written out and I have these images in my head, but I just can't draw I have various ideas... for example I have some things with a falling boy but I can't seem to find the way to draw a falling person.

Also I don't draw anymore because if I want to be good in drawing, I need to focus myself really hard and it costs a lot of energy. Do you have this also?

Goa is in India or not? but it's also name for tibetan antelope Yea, from India I'd like to visit north -Ladakh, Sikkim.. and Bhutan, Nepal.. But Kham and Sichuan mainly.

Sure I'm also seeing individual char in every person, mostly feeling different energies.
This your drawing is..a little bit scary for me bcs I feel like suffocating..that some ocean is ravening me.. And I'm panic from suffocation. Strange, I know.. No I don't think you're depressed; when I'm painting, it's mostly dark (and emotionally sad or dreamy) or some lonely person is on, and I'm also not so sad ..but no finished work to submit here.
Yea I tried to do this as base without emotions, that's right.
I think that is possible to read personality of each artist in his artwork..in technique, theme, depth..
Your ideas will have their time to come out I have also some ideas saved in my sketchbook. I'm not sure if it costs a lot of energy, more time..and you must really want to improve..and it depends also on tallent. Yes I have it same..need to improve.
