America's hand finally came out of the box and it was holding a white cloth handkerchief. Some countries looked relieved at not being chosen, others were trying to figure out who it belonged to. And yet there were others who already knew who it belonged to and were searching around for the person that at the same time gave out a sigh before standing up.

"Looks like you are the first person!"

"Shut up you bloody wanker!" England snapped as he took his handkerchief back from America.

"Now put your hand in the box and choose who is going to accompany you to the closet!" At that remark a lot of the other nations immediately looked worried again.

Looks like they forgot that they are still in danger of being chosen

England sighed before putting his hand in the box and he began feeling around. His hand touched something that felt smooth and cold. Curious, he wrapped his hand around it and pulled it out.

This feels heavy. England looked at the item that he had chosen. It was a fan, made out of iron. He opened it to reveal that it didn't have any designs.

"I believe that's mine." England turned to see Japan walking over from where he had been sitting with his siblings. Japan calmly took his fan away from England and used it to fan himself a little.

"Alright! In the closet you two!" England rolled his eyes and walked into the closet before America could shove him in. Japan followed but hesitated at the doorway.

"There's not a lot of room in there." Japan mumbled from behind his fan.

"The seven minutes start when the door closes!" America's loud voice made Japan jump a little before America shoved him in. Japan quickly closed his fan and moved it out of the way before he collided into England as the closet door slammed shut behind him. "Enjoy yourselves in there!"

"Is there a light in here or are we supposed to stay here in the dark?" Japan asked as he moved away from England.

"I didn't see a switch so I guess we are."

"Soudesunee…"

"Anyway… why is that fan made out of iron?"

"It's a tessen." Was all England got for a reply. "Besides you should have recognized it. I used it once against you remember?"

"Um…" England scratched the back of his head as he tried to remember. The two of them just stood there in silence before England made up his mind. Reaching out he wrapped his arms around Japan's waist and pulled him closer.

"Um… Igirisu-san?" Japan asked as he turned in order to push England away. England grabbed Japan's wrists and lifted them above his head as he pinned him to the wall, and at the same time kissed him before Japan could voice out a protest.

"You really don't know the meaning of personal space." Japan said when England broke the kiss.

"Guess you are still the conservative samurai I met all those years ago."

"And you are still the unruly pirate I met all those years ago."

"Guess we haven't changed much despite the passage of time."

"Unhand me this instant."

"Why?"

"You are standing too close to me."

"And if I don't want to?"

"I'll…" Japan was interrupted as England shifted his grip on his wrists so that he was holding them with one hand in other to use the other in order to lift his chin and kiss him. Japan managed to free both of his hands and he carefully shifted the fan as he started to shove England away.

"Why?" Japan asked as he finally managed to break that kiss

"Why what?"

"Why are you acting as if you didn't betray and abandon me all those years ago?"

"You know why I left you. My government thought it would be for the best if we broke the alliance."

"So Amerika-san was a better choice than me?"

"He wasn't. I already told you that my people believed that an alliance with America would work better in our favor."

"Which it didn't."

"No, it didn't"

"And yet… I am able to forgive you for what you did. After all, you returned to me in the end."

Silence fell upon both nations as they continued to stand there, with England half pinning Japan to the wall. Japan sighed and leaned his head into England's shoulder. Then England hugged him in return and they continued to stand there, enjoying each other's presence. After a while, England lifted Japan's chin up and Japan returned the kiss as he wrapped his arms around England's neck.

"All right! Time's up!" America shouted and at the same time the closet door was thrown open. Startled, England broke the kiss and realized that Japan was blocking everyone's view with his iron fan.

"This is so embarrassing." Japan mumbled as he hid his face into England's clothes, despite the fact that the fan still blocked them from view.

"Well, at least we weren't caught in our former position." England replied as they broke apart and Japan hit him on the head with his now closed fan. Japan gave him an amused look as England cursed him under his breath as they stepped out of the closet. Almost immediately China began inspecting a startled Japan and at the same time England was being teased by both France and America.

"Alright you two please return your items to the box and go back to your seats. Don't think that just because you were already chosen you are out of danger." England murmured a bunch of curses as he returned his handkerchief to the box and Japan quietly returned his fan before they both went to sit down. Almost immediately America reached back into the box.

"Now I wonder who is next…."
