April Fools'! I didn't really have it planned, but it got me drawing again after a little break, and it was fun. Hopefully it didn't bother anybody. I don't like doing pranks, but I decided to do this just for fun because it would be drawing practice. I don't do pranks or April Fools' pranks because who knows what could happen, be it someone actually getting hurt, scaring somebody or hurting feelings. I don't think that's all that fun or nice.

I'm leaving the Art Fortune thing up. That's kind of funny.

My nephew was originally supposed to have been born April first, but it was just an estimate, and he was born near the end of March. That's probably for the best. Potentially getting pranked all day on your birthday wouldn't have been good at all, even if you do have a good sense of humor.

I probably should've waited until I actually wrote the chapter to reveal this, but I couldn't wait, so--surprise! The son of my two characters isn't a regular old unicorn after all, but an alicorn! It's probably gonna take some getting used to, but I've been thinking about it for a long time and decided to go ahead with it to see if I could handle it. It's possible to make having an alicorn character work, and I'm going to do my best. I've got an explanation, but it will come in time. Thanks for being patient with me and watching as my art improved, and hopefully my storytelling, too!

Rain and Honey's son is still named Agave Shadow, it's just his appearance that's changed. It'll take the new parents some time to get used to it, as you can see, and they'll have a lot of sleepless nights and confusion about how to help their child grow up as an alicorn. They'll get through it with help, though, as they have Change ling and unicorn friends to help him with his magic and flying, and a bat pony friend to also help give flying lessons.
