Description
All night, Apple Bloom stayed up, looking out of her window. She cried silent tears, being cautious to not wake up Granny Smith or Applejack. She just couldn’t handle their disappointment now.
At least she has Diamond Tiara by her side. She even offered to help with doctor appointments with her family’s private doctors. Apple Bloom let the corners of her mouth smile softly, thinking on how great of a friend Diamond Tiara is being towards her. She was glad she ran into her in the bathroom.
The sun starting to rise as the roosters crow. Apple Bloom knew everyone was getting up soon, so she had to hurry to the bathroom before she made a mess like she did every morning the past month. As she sat on the floor of the bathroom, her head over the edge of the toilet, she heard a soft knock on the door, scaring her.
“Auntie Apple Bloom... are ya done yet?” a colt’s tired voice reached her. She got up and opened the door to see her nephew Bubble Cider rubbing his tired eyes.
“Ah, sorry squirt. Jus’ tryin’ to wake up.”
“Are you ok, Auntie?” Bubble Cider looked up at her, his eyebrows knitting a bit.
“Oh, oh yes, yes, yes, I am fine, squirt.” Apple Bloom smiled softly as she ruffled his hair and walked past him.
She made her way down stairs to a kitchen being busy, the smell of breakfast making her stomach turn. She rounded the corner to see her brother-in-law, Caramel setting the table with her niece, Applesauce, trailing him. Granny Smith and Applejack were making pancakes.
“Mornin’, sugarcube!” Applejack said as she carried the pancakes to the table and sit her daughter down. “Ready for some breakfast?”
Apple Bloom tried her best to not puke everywhere.
“Mornin’, Applejack. Ah’m sorry, Ah need to get to Diamond Tiara’s. She needs my help carryin’ her project to school.”
Applejack looked at Apple Bloom with a worried look, making Apple Bloom feel fidgety. “Are ya sure ya wanna skip..?”
“Sorry, Sis!” Apple Bloom grabbed her bag and started walking out the door, “Ah gotta go!”
As Apple Bloom started to run towards town, she couldn’t help but cry, lying to her truth telling sister.

Apple Bloom met Diamond Tiara outside of school, waiting for her with a juice.
“Here, you need the nutrition. Plus, it’s safe for the...” Diamond Tiara looked around to make sure no one was listening, then whispered to Apple Bloom, “you know, the little one.”
Apple Bloom was taken aback, still unable to wrap her head around the idea of her pregnancy.
“Thanks, Diamond, you’ve been so sweet to me.” She took the juice and took a few sips as they sat on a bench.
“So, when are you gonna tell Carrot Crunch and your family?” her friend asked with concern. Apple Bloom looked down at her drink.
“Ah was thinkin’....usually me and Carrot meet under my parents’ trees on fridays, tonight. Ah’m just gonna halfta leave a note in his locker, lettin’ him know I got somethin’ to say.”
Apple Bloom felt Diamond Tiara put her hoof on her shoulder, a smile on her face, making Apple Bloom feel a little more comfortable. The school bell’s started ringing.
“Apple Bloom, if you need help, let me know. Do you mind if I can come to your house tomorrow?”
“Huh? Why?”
“Well, maybe we can discuss on an appointment for you, to check on the little one, figure out a plan?”
“Oh, yea, yea, sure ya can, jus’...” Apple Bloom thought on where her family would be throughout the day as she grabbed her bag and take out an envelope, “jus’ come ‘round 2. Everypony is gonna be doing their own thing.”
“Alright, I’ll see you there.” Diamond Tiara smiled at her as they walked through the school’s doors. “And you’ll have to tell me what Carrot Crunch’s reaction is.”
“Course Ah will.” Apple Bloom smiled and waved her friend goodbye as she made her way through the crowd of ponies. She made her way to her Coltfriend’s locker, nervously putting the letter through the slots on the door, her heart pounding as she heard the soft landing of the envelope inside.
She’ll have to wait to see him at sunset.

Apple Bloom felt so distracted all day, so nervous as to how her Coltfriend will react. She couldn’t even give her 100% focus towards her family’s dinner. Now, slowly making her way to her parents’ trees, her heart was pounding and sinking at the same time.
She rounded around the bushes to see Carrot Crunch, sitting there, looking handsome in the low sunlight, waiting for her. He turned her way and smiled his big, toothy grin at her. She felt butterflies in her stomach.
Or was it...? She shook her head to herself as she started walking toward Carrot Crunch. No, it was far too early for kicking. Not to mention she hasn’t even seen an ultrasound yet.
“Hey there, fruit tart.” Carrot Crunch greeted her.
“Heh...hi there, buck.” Apple Bloom day next to Carrot, looking straight forward. She could feel him staring down at her.
“What’s wrong, Apple Bloom? What’s on your mind that you want to talk about?”
Apple Bloom felt her eyes burn with tears forming, her heart racing that it hurt.
“Apple Bloom, what’s going on?” Carrot Crunch leaned down a bit to be eye level with her. She just couldn’t handle his worried eyes anymore.
“We have a problem!” Apple Bloom bursted out.
“A problem?” He questioned, raising his eyebrow.
“Carrot Crunch, ever since homecoming night,” she heard him giggle to himself, knowing full aware what was running through his mind, “Ah’ve been sick since. Only the last 2 weeks Ah have been throwin’ up and not feelin’ well.”
“I thought you weren’t yourself lately, but why is it a problem for us?”
“W-well...” Apple Bloom gulped, taking in a deep breath, and just had no other way but to blurt it out, “Carrot Crunch, Ah...Ah’m pregnant!”
Apple Bloom looked up at her Coltfriend as he straightened up, his face processing the news.
“You...you mean, that what we did...” he was trying to piece it all together, “you’re having a foal?”
“WE are having a foal!” Apple Bloom corrected, then she started to cry. “We are too young! How are we supposed to do this?!”
Carrot Crunch let Apple Bloom cry on his shoulder. She looked up to see a sad look on his face. She messed up, she knew it. Apple Bloom almost felt another wave of tears form as she prepared for him to yell.
“We will figure this out,” her ears perked up as she heard him talk in a calming voice. She looked up to see him smile down at her.
“Huh?”
“We’ll figure this out little by little, fruit tart. You are my priority. They,” he placed his hoof on her stomach, surprising her, “are my priority now. We will get help, we will do this together, I promise I won’t leave either of you.”
Apple Bloom felt relieved. She cried again, going into Carrot Crunch’s arms. She felt so happy knowing he wasn’t going to leave.
Now all that’s left to do is tell her family. How is she going to do that?

Apple Bloom felt relieved. She cried again, going into Carrot Crunch’s arms. She felt so happy knowing he wasn’t going to leave.
Now all that’s left to do is tell her family. How is she going to do that?
