Description
This is Lightmare, a minor villain from Sonic The Comic. She's from the Special Zone parallel universe, and she's the current leader of the former Sidewinder Gang. She succeeded her father, Lord Sidewinder, when he died, and tends to be more of a reasonable leader than he was. Lightmare tends to be more on the neutral side, but don't anger her. You might live to remember, but with mental scars that last a lifetime... or uncontrollable vomiting every time you hear the word 'parsley'.Anyway, Lightmare's gang is affiliated with Manic's father's gang, and she's his honorary nan. She's also formed an Elijah link with Manic to pass her powers on to him upon her death.
Basically, she's now sorta part-Aughra, part Emma Frost.

Ah! Thanks for pointing that out! I do need to work on my proportions as well. I keep making my heads either too big or too small. Got any tips on making correct proportions? I've gotten a little better, but I still need to work at it.

Thanks! Also, I'm trying to keep the proportions of characters from the Sonic comics to well... Sonic Comic proportions. The heads do tend to be a little big and other parts are often exaggerated. For example, Lightmare's tail is that thick in the comic, though I think it's shorter. Might make it thinner though since in this fanon continuity, she is a lot older (probably older than her father was in the UK Sonic comic).

Well, the name suits her, she's someone I wouldn't want to bump into in the Mystic Cave Zone, or get her angry. Yeeeesh! Cool pic.

Thanks! Lightmare isn't owned by me though - I believe she's owned by Nigel Kitching. Lightmare actually helped Sonic and the Chaotix once because her father is insane and was trying to control evil Super Sonic. She knew that this would end up destroying the entire gang, and despite her loyalty to her father, Lightmare knew this would not end well. Around sixty or so years later, Lightmare now heads the gang and has pretty much stopped taking care off herself after her two sons - fathered by two different men - were killed in a botched raid.
Also in my fanon continuity, Lightmare HATES Ebony, a cat from Mobius who happens to be Super Sonic's best friend. I'm not certain what Ebony did or said, but Lightmare wants nothing to do with her now, and she's wailed on Ebony a few times for clumsily trying to get an explanation for her behaviour - which at least to Ebony, came out of left field.
See, in my fanon, a lot of characters have said and done things that have resulted in some epic fuck-ups - often when they didn't even need to get involved. Ebony has also pissed off Knuckles, who later became Athair, though he will probably be more forgiving. I think in Lightmare's case, Ebony said the wrong thing and just unknowingly stamped on Lightmare's berserk button. She probably subjected Ebony to her box of nightmares several times - giving her smelling-salts in between. Yup... Lightmare is a BITCH when angry, and when it comes to holding grudges, she will beat the cape buffalo hands-down.
