I tryed to setle down a bit, and surprisingly...Evey and V smiled to me...I think I understood what they wanted...I can´t quite place it with words, but I tryed to draw it...Originaly it wasn´t suposse to be them actually...but then Evey slipped as first under my fingers, quietly smiling, almoust not seen the smile...later it greew, since there came V glancing at her with such look...you know..with that look, amuzing...I think they wore speaking to each other, smiling over the atempt to be captured "all at once"...like there is no way to do that...
Did you ask your self? Is it possible to draw a person so that you capture it whole? Including past, all the emotions, happenings which it brought together...yes, they wore smiling, not like laughing me out...just happy I "listened" to their glances...
My, it was a pleasure, to "observe" them...such satisfaction, calm bowing of head, halfclosed eyelids...somehow like old couple on one warm afternoon...the feeling you can´t catch or place it..just watching quiet captured by the moment...truly I felt like a kid watching candybar slowly melting on the sidewalk in hot summer...
I would like to give you the feeling too, I knew alreay this one, but "Amie" from Damien Rice is made liek for them..describing the situation...
I give just one advice...when you listen to it...try to think about it possitive, I know many songs from Damien Rice tend to make you sad, crying...thouth this song is just beautiful and if you listen carefully it WILL hug you, warmly embrace you...

I´m a new "member" of this website but i think...IS THE FUCKIN CUTEST THING I EVER SEE!! i love your style for create the hands... and of course the light and the shadows are amaizing (pardon me for my english i´m a latinoamerican girl XD), the texture of the hands of v is incredible and the body of Evey is...WOW, when I saw it I just thought it was blurred and the only thing I could fault would be a little blurry edges having the back of Evey (AGAIN PARDON ME FOR MY ENGLISH)....all the rest of things are pretty, incredible and TERRIBLY ROMANTIC!! <3 OH GOD I´M FANGIRLING HAHAHA

About the color-light...@_@ I am still fighting with it, and it is always a real challenge to make Evey (I guess she is trying to be wild, or got influenced with V´ s love for shadow) not looking dirty...I am still deciding if to make the shadow brown (warm), or choosing more legant variants...

It really does look like they were sitting in front of you, and you were sketching them on a pad, and there were lots of pictures of them that you did and you're only showing these two. you caught their life and movement somehow, despite the fact they're both in passive poses. I can see that Evey's face was neutral and now she's trying hard not to smile, as if at something V said to her. V's mask is as frozen as ever, but in the quirk of his head and something in his neck I can practically hear him speaking to her.
the song has so many ironies and connections to them and their relationships throughout their time together(both in the movie and the fictions). It's definitely a good choice for this picture.
