Ya know that warm, fuzzy feeling? Here's a couple of fuzzies in warm colors that might give you one.
Same clothing as my last pictures, but done in slightly different colors to get that "warm glow" effect. Also used a different brown for Sasha's lighter parts...not sure if I should use it all the time or not. It's a tad red for her fur (it's closer to what you'd want for her dad), but it gets the warmth of the lighting across.

Markers are easier to get a full coverage with and not leave white showing through than pencil. You just have to watch out for places they overlap - they tend to look streaky. Though the yellows and oranges are much better about not doing that than the cooler colors for some reason...

Oh, and I love the way you did the stripes on Sasha's hands, this time. It looks awesome, now with the staggered lines. They look a thousand times better than before, I think. You should keep it.

Well, that's the same stripe pattern I've been using all along. It's just hard to show the exact patern when her hands are doing something.

Oh. Ok. The large stripe looked a little more jagged and curved. I guess it IS the position of the hand, though. Anyway, it looks good!
