A creature design made for *Rhavencroft ! Design request.

The Silent Poison is a being that hides in the shadows, waiting to strike at it's prey. It especially likes to climb up into the corner of a room, or onto the wall above a door frame. It will make a hissing in one's ear, but they will never see it as it stays just within the corner of their eye.
It is a very delicate creature despite its predatory nature. Its bones are hollow and light like a bird's, but its wings are incapable of giving it flight . It strikes its prey quickly, preferring to swallow its victim whole. Like a garden snake, it has rows of small teeth in the roof and back of its mouth to keep food from escaping, and will inject poison with them to stop its prey from struggling.
Its "hands" are rudimentary at best, capable of holding things, but not good at using what its holding. Its hind-most set of feet are for tightly gripping branches and such. Its tongue is like a chameleon's- sticky and projectile-like to catch smaller, faster prey. The skullspots on its tail and inside its wings are to threaten any would-be attackers, though they might be just to make its prey run faster.

Design-wise, I'm fairly happy with this, but all-in-all, it feels.. Bleh. Mixed emotions. Too many things that are just "common" to me. Raven, peacock, chameleon, a little snake and mouth thrown in for good measure... The skullspots (death's head moth) were a last-minute addition. They were originally regular peacock eyespots, but they looked too much like hearts, and then I remembered that moth. The strange highlights and colours in the topmost image are supposed to be the iridescence seen on ravens and crows, though I've never done it before, so it came out rather terrible.

Rhavencroft, I wouldd be willing to tweak this, redesign it, or just make a new design if you feel it isn't to your liking! I don't really feel I made something that goes to your request. :<
