This is the result of a self portrait final assignment for my art class, to which I am VERY proud of! I will admit that I used a photograph to do this picture, but I was pressed for time and being left handed is hard. It's definitely a big improvement from the self portrait I did at the beginning of the semester (which I may or may not get around to posting for a comparison) and was a good branch out from my typical cartoon style of art.BTW, please try to ignore the horribly roughly sketched hand that my head is resting on...please!

This is wonderful, I think you have talent in drawing portrait rather than cartoon style (although that's good as well). Your hand is also very good, I like it. Typically I do Anime and Manga style, having no skill in anything otherwise, just haven't gotten around to posting any of my stuff. My favorite feature of this is the eyes, it has depth.

Well, this art is nearly a year old now, and almost all of the cartoon art style stuff on dA is much older. I've been really busy in my real life and haven't had the time to post any of the new drawings I've made since my significant improvement. I've slowly started to, posting a few pictures, but those are still a little old (starting from around the end of the school year last year).
I hope when I get around to it you will stop by and give them a look! ^.^
