Description
Acrylic, ink and silver marker on 16x20" / 40x50 cm stretched canvas.Plastic, metal, gems, newspaper gesso, modeling paste...
I really enjoyed building up the texture with the newspaper..
It all started with the realization that by mixing navy blue and chocolate brown, I got a very pleasing shade of purple.. But I somehow lost it along the way as I was adding other colors..

may i utter a point of criticism? when i look at the red circle top right, it's obvious, that it's not same way round as the blue circle... like a teacher at my art scool once put it: "don't let them smell the rat..." haha, if there is a circle, it should be a circle...

Thank you, and you are completely right... Having said that I think it's great that it slipped my attention... Sometimes I tend to make everything way too "perfect", connecting all the open curves can often complete perfectly round circles... and.. often makes the painting too controlled xD

Wow i've read on your blog and you say you don't get on with dirty colours so you stick to bright ones mostly.
