Mixed media work, trying out some new materials =]I like how it feels dark and happy at the same time..
16x20" / 40x50 cm on canvas

Many have been asking about what materials I used.. so..
Texture build: Gesso, modeling paste, metal, plastic, egg shells, gems, marbles, sand.
Paints: Acrylic, watercolor, black and silver ink.

Got to ask though.. would love to know.. what on earth do you do with EGGSHELLS and a canvas. Could you explain?

about the egg shells, I honestly enjoy putting them on any kind of surface. Pressing on them as they crack on gesso or modeling paste creates a pretty cool effect in my opinion. And then even as the color sinks between the cracks, kinda interesting to watch.
I'm very engaged in all the processes that I do in my works to achieve the final look.

hi San. Thanks. I've been having some computer trouble, not finished yet either. So just quickly managed to post some new works, but not sit for long and go through my inboxes. Trying to tackle them now

About the eggshells, some hot water will be enough, just need to scrape/peel that thin inner layer =]
