It's really really hard to concentrate on your school work when your brain and your body are conspiring to turn your thoughts to BOYS every ten seconds.
Something of a self-portrait of how I feel tonight to be honest! I'm not skilled enough with Daz to actually give her my face, but the body shape's not bad.
Not really happy with this render yet. I've been screwing with the lights on it for an hour though so I've had enough and I'm going to bed. Hopefully not to think about boys too much.

It's easier to study if you actually look at the books lol
I know how you feel though, it wasn't that long ago that I was in your shoes. Except I was thinking of girls, mostly the ones that would get me into trouble...Never really grew out of that either lol
What's your lighting setup like? Looks like some of your surfaces are set to "plastic" also, change it to "matte" (especially the pillows) and see how that renders...

Thanks for the tips. Not sure about the 'look at the book' one though, the stuff in the book was way less interesting than whatever was going on in my head!
I was mostly trying to work out if I could do some decent lights on my own without using pre-packaged ones, and I tried quite a few combinations. Can't remember off the top of my head what I ended up using on this last one. I was also trying to get a sunlight look through the slats on the window that's off to the left of the scene, but the shadows that insisted on casting looked stupid. I'll maybe play with it a bit more this evening.
