Backstory
Arthur was born in 1915, around the time that he was 7, his father died due drinking tainted liquor during the Prohibition. After that, his family suffered greatly. His mother could barely get a job because, of how women were "unfit" for working back then. Eventually, Arthur had to get a job himself at such a young age. When he was 14, The Great Depression rose in the US and Arthur and his Mother almost lived out in the street at that point. They managed to be able to live in a rickety old shack-like house but, were still struggling to survive. Arthur, at this point, was looking for a job once again, loosing his last one due to the Depression. Eventually he got desperate and met a group of people who said they would get him a job that pays well and he'd never loose to but, he had to go through their "initiation". Arthur didn't really care, he would have done anything to help his mother. Well, unfortunate for him, their initiation required turning him into a vampire to help get more in their species. Arthur regretted that decision to this day. He never told his mother about what had happened and covered up the scars on his neck with scarves. Eventually, his job did help them as they actually moved in a real home. Though one day, due to repressing all of his cravings of blood, in a fit of pure instinct, he attacked his mother and killed her. He didn't realize until the next morning and after mourning the loss of his last family, fled the house, never to be seen again. As time went on, Arthur gained friends with both magical creatures and humans but, in the end, had to watch them all die and it always depressed him. Around 1960's, he gave up on having friends or anything and has been alone ever since. To this day, he still works for those group of vampires, working as a professor to pass the time.

Personality
Arthur on the surface, looks every chill and calm but, on the inside is constantly depressed and stressed. He's hurting from being so alone all the time but, doesn't want to feel the pain of loosing everyone again. He tries to cover up his depression with TV or reading, since he hates medication knowing what it can do to people's brains. Though, he sucks it up and goes on with his days. He can be a bit sarcastic and blunt at times but, he never means to hurt anyone by it. Arthur is very welcoming and kind to new people but, give him a reason to hate you and he will and it will be hard to get him to change his mind on you. He's very stubborn.

Weaknesses
Things being overly messy. He can stand a bit of a mess but, can be unreasonable if it gets a bit too much. He believes he might have slight OCD but, doesn't want to jump to any conclusions and research it more first.

Likes/Loves: Strawberries, alone time, watching TV, writing stories, learning about new things, investigation shows (about murders and such), etc.

Dislikes: Messy areas, loud noise, people arguing with him, dumb kids shows, etc.
