Hunger Games!!!Although i'm not quite sure about the casting, I'm still crazy excited about the movie.
I still need to figure out the background, no way I'm doing all those leaves.
Oh, and sorry for the poor quality, it's late and I'm too lazy to go scan it, so I just took a photo.

Oh goodness! I though this was a black and white snapshot at first! This is magnificent! You have an amazing eye for shades and highlights, and their clothing looks amazing. And the muscles in Gale's arm! And the little out of place piece of Katniss's hair! Its just brilliant.

Really nice pic there. The leaves can be tedious, but the effect can also be done with a little bit of smudging and some little scribbling, not that hard to be honest. You should fix the guy's chin though, he looks like he's Jay Leno's son lol.
Honestly, im not too sure about the movie itself :/
I expected the costumes to look more primitive, the cast of actors look more gritty...
I dont know...i think this movie will be basically a "twilight" fangirl film ...

Haha ya, I noticed the chin as well. When I do the background I'll fix it and re-upload it.
I'm worried you may be right about the fangirl film, if there were going to make this film the way it should be made with the gore and the terrifying violence it would be rated R, but since that would cut out a huge number of the audience they're aiming at it will probably be PG13 and toned way down.

Ever since i heard that the Seabisquit director was going to make it, i got a bad feeling about it.
A good director would have been someone like Guillermo del toro, or even the Wachowski bros.
I was also going to say Zack snyder but after the suckerpunch movie..i pass xDD
Well, the thing is that they will leave out key scenes, like when the little girl bleeds to death and dies while kat sings, or when they kill the first tributes in the very first begining of the game, the book was very explicit, or when katniss badly burns her leg.
Im just going to buy it bootlegged >.>
And if my friend ever makes it to film director i shall insist on a "PROPER REMAKE" HAHA

When I first heard they were making it into a movie, I read somewhere that the person who cast twilight was casting HG... it was then I began to get worried. But, I will wait until I at least see the trailer to really judge. (but I do agree that Gary Ross was a horrible choice for director)
My only big fear now is that they'll focus on the "love triangle" aspect and kind of ignore that the book is about a dictatorship forcing children to brutally murder each other for the governments enjoyment.

The twilight cast person cast the actors for this movie...your scaring me even more.
Trailers are made to attract people, so dont expect to see a horrible or FANTASTIC movie in it.
And more than likely, they will focus on the love triangle, no need to worry on that
At least there will be a remake during the years i bet.
Look at the spiderman trilogy, until just recently they caught on that they sucked, now, REMAKE! "The amazing spiderman"
Im sure it'll happen with this one if it sucks.

I know that trailer take the best of the movie to attract people, but at least you get to see a bit of the actors in action.
