32"x23.5 Oil and acrylic on Masonite.

One of my wacky head-scapes. Like most of my work, done without refs. It took my a long time to do this one. In the end I think it came out pretty,,, pretty!

This piece was done with brushes but since I completed this piece in June, I have been using my fingers only for all my new head-scapes. (you will see them SOON!)

This work was under-painted in acrylic in shades of umber. Subsequent layers were then color glazed in oil, then finished with very thick opaque.

My Mother, who is a carpenter, custom made this frame, and several others, for me. They look fantastic in person!

Oh,,,and btw, the photograph of this painting is terrible, hardly during justice to the work. It will be replaced when I can afford a professional photographer, skilled in the arts of the 4"x5"!
