The third entry for the Unusual Couples contest atHad this idea in my head for a while and when Yami/Honda was mentioned as an example for the contest I thought it'd be a good idea to get it done.
Basically a parody on all of the "How YGO Should Have Ended" art/fics you see around. You know the ones - Yami is about to leave but then the love interest of choice interrupts to say that they love him and he stays. I'm not bashing the concept I just want to joke around with it a little.
It was going to be Yugi, Anzu and Seto watching him go but in the manga version of Pharaoh's Memories (which I prefer) Seto wasn't around when Yami left so Jounouchi stood in instead.
So here's Honda telling Yami he can't go because he loves him.
Because it was cute how Honda was in tears about it. 
Clearly Yami is less than amused about it and probably won't stay to return Honda's affections in this example. XD The characters are chibi-fied because I was lazy and my scanner doesn't like the colour yellow so the floor didn't scan well.Also using this for the YGO 10 Art Themes: 99. The last scene of YGO.

Love it! I admit, I haven't seen many of these 'How YGO should have ended' things, but the first panel here seems to sum it up rather well.
I also adore Honda's big tears. It speaks so much about why I adore animation as a whole so much - you can do so much more and exaggerate.

They're out there. XD I don't think they're as common now as they are when YGO had just ended though. Mostly it was in Yami/Yugi stuff and admittedly I've done a lot of Yami/Seto RPs on the theme.
It would have been so awesome to do this in animation. =3 It looks like it should have been one. XD

If you can, watch the Japanese version. Because that's one of the episodes where the original is truly more funny than the dub. XD Though the dub did give him the dorkiest voice ever.
