If I may add another comment on this picture that I have grown to love so much, when I look at her releasing the petals, it makes me feel that it is me, somehow releasing the pain of a very broken heart I have suffered in the last 2 months.
I am learning slowly to let go and maybe like the girl in the picture watching her petals go one by one, I can also let the pain go little by little until it leaves me for good.
I am not saying your picture is sad, but you know how we all interpret things. And to me if you can create a picture that speaks to someone's heart and soul, you have created a masterpiece.

Wow man! This is truly beautiful...very traditional in parts, and children's book illustration type of figure - simple clean cut serene.
The whole scene is wonderful - just peaceful and you really feel you're there with the petals being blown towards you. Mmmm
