Suzuya's mind blanked shifting from unconsciousness to consciousness. She was in her house, then in the streets of Wynsiph, only to be in Dr. F's, only to continue to wake up in a tent for a good while. She could hear the gro that had picked her up from her home talking to someone, but their voices were muffled and faint. It sounded as if they were miles away, she figured this is what wind magic students could hear listening to far away voices. Suzuya wanted to stand but what ever had overtaken her had rendered her incapacitated for the moment. She couldn't move at all and with nothing else better to do, she eventually fell asleep. For what felt like a long time she was bathed in darkness, she didn't dream this time, there were no creatures chasing or dragging her to the depths. No saviors, just black restful seep. She woke up groaning and rolled onto her other side before trying to open her eyes. It was an effort, as the black gunk had crusted over her eyes making it impossible to open. Finally, the gunk gave way bathing her vision in light, she winced from the soft light coming from candles around the tent, as it felt as if the sun itself was in the room. Slowly she readjusted, looking about the tent like structure. Suddenly the smell of death hit her causing her to sit up grabbing a conveniently placed bin and vomiting inside of it. She had never smelled anything like it, where was she?

After finishing her vomiting, she felt a bit better, whatever had been stewing in her stomach for what could have easily been weeks was gone, leaving her a tad bit more invigorated. Rubbing more of the gunk from her eyes she finally noticed the red form next to her. He was breathing steadily, his head buried in an arm, the other seemingly lobbed off, giving an easy identification to who it was. "K-Kid?" She wheezed. Her voice was foreign to her, it sounded like she hadn't spoken in weeks, and the gunk that was covering every inch of this new location had dried out her throat. The Red Quad opened up his eyes, swollen from the gunk, however, his mood seemed to change as he saw her awake. He smiled softly shifting to set his head on his hand. "Well, it's good to see you." He said quietly, his voice sounding just as weak as hers did. She seemed to calm seeing a familiar face after all this. She saw the same black glands on his back, before her eyes caught site of the new burn on his eye. She was about to open her mouth to give him a meek scolding about whatever fire he was playing with while she was away, but a voice tore her away from that.

"Suzuya?" It came from the cot behind hers and it was just as quiet as Kids. She turned sharper than she should have causing another wave of nausea that she almost submitted to. Choking back the vomit, she looked to the grey biped laying in the cot next to her. A pang of familiarity and memories from the past surged through her. In a bout of new found energy she practically jumped from the bed. She shuffled quickly over to the cot and grabbed him in a tight hug from her sitting position. Remembering the woods, the egg she had given to him, she squeezed him tighter beginning to cry, her tears mixing with the substance leaking from her glands.

"Cinder... I'm so glad you're home." She sobbed quietly tightening her hold on the biped.
