Putu, you have a style all of your own, as soon as I saw this shot I knew it was yours, with put reading your name. That to me is good, that to me says your work is special, and it is my friend. Yet another stunning waterscape from you. The panoramic effect is clever and inviting to the viewer. The shot itself composed so well, the foreground water leads you into the frame, there's evidence of ripples suggesting movement. The reflections of the clouds make your eyes dart upwards to see the clouds themselves. Then I am drawn back down to the boat, perfectly outlined again, almost at rest, peaceful in its being. The eye sweeps the horizon taking in the hillsides, curving round to the left to the near headland and shoreline. The line of red buoys diminishing in size link to the boat, provide superb depth and perspective, whilst identifying a theme of fishing, suggesting people and livelihoods. Superb work again my friend and it further adds to the desire to visit your beautiful country. Simon
