Full Moon is about a 12-year old girl who has throat cancer, crushing her dreams of becoming a singer. One day, two shinigamis come to her house to stop someone who apparently meant to prevent her death in one years time. Because she only has a year left to live, they use their powers to change into a 16 year old, the age she has to be to enter a contest and try to win so she can become a singer.
It seems a little silly when you read it like that, but it's such a great story. <3
