It looks like an assortment of different steps.But I don't know the exact order,but I do know the coloring,it's a black marker with a hint of pencil like shading on shadow.Other than that,I don't know how this person does it.

The characters and backround are well drawn, and the dark pen (or whatever was used) adds to the effect, Im very interested. ^^ *Favs*

This looks so good! I love how crisp you made the outlines, and the way you added in the heavy shadows onto the characters to create such a tense atmosphere. I also like the little bits of stray quills you put in Sonic's quills, making him look so feral.
Wonderful layout as well. Very effective, and the tones you used really finish it off nicely.
