Description Many of you have brought this to my attention,
Someone called Kony, who have kidnaped over 30 thousand children, forced them to kill their parents, to become part of his army !
update: I was also informed that Kony have been dead or gone missing for a few years and that his army has not made any move since. The video of Kony 2012 has reasonable evidence of being a propaganda, refer to this video for more information: [link]

Yeah, and to make it worse here in America, we don't know exactly what is happening there. We just know that problem is Russia.

I have abandoned father and become your angel of death
The construction of you hatred binds my chaotic mind
Leading me to the ever consuming light of malevolence
You abide me to pave the roads with the blood of the innocence
What has captivated your empty heart to know such rage
Why corrode the purity of my already betrayed heart
You teach me to drink from the cup of bitterness and taste fear
Withering souls taught to never leave a drop of mercy
You raise an army of broken angels never meant to be amazed
Grace will never find their hearts now
Save for the abyss to swallow the demise of their tears
Stabbing through the historical pages of misery
I will cease to be soon but the pain I leave will be etched into your hearts forever
Kony 2012 Never Forget

awesome artwork, but theres something i dont understand; if troops from america want to find and capture kony this year, theyre going to have to go through his army to get to him. his army are children. the charity wants to save the children. so how are they going to get kony without killing those poor kids?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JaeDub003 In reply to Eastreach [2012-04-30 20:22:23 +0000 UTC]

Those "poor" kids have killed & beaten people to death. They are dangerous combatants until surrendered unconditionally & should be treated as hostile until such a time.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Eastreach In reply to JaeDub003 [2012-05-05 20:58:36 +0000 UTC]

even so, the charity contradicts itself. they say they want to save these children: 'invisible children'. how are they going to do that?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JaeDub003 In reply to Eastreach [2012-05-05 22:03:47 +0000 UTC]

*Shrugs* I don't do charities I am not familiar with... All i did was state what I do know. This Kony 2012 is an old issue now anyways & there is plenty of information out there for you to answer this question. All I am concerned about is people who have to combat these armed & violent soldiers...

I apologize if it bothers you to refer to children as such, but once you have killed, maimed, & tortured part of your own species in which I too am a part of, I see you as a threat regardless of age.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Eastreach In reply to JaeDub003 [2012-05-06 12:07:48 +0000 UTC]

Those kids were kidnapped and forced to join that army. I agree that murder and torture are wrong, and that, yes, the army is a threat; but you must also look at the motivation. If it werent for Kony the vast majority of these kids wouldnt have killed anybody, therefore they cannot be held entirely accountable.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JaeDub003 In reply to Eastreach [2012-05-06 13:41:35 +0000 UTC]

I am not saying that didn't happen either. But if they attack against soldiers there to liberate them, they are hostiles & should be dealt with as such. What ever motivates an enemy combatant doesn't entirely matter unless you can route the source of their motivation. Fact is the idea is to prevent anymore children from being abducted & constricted into his militia of fodder. Those already in service have to surrender or be engaged as hostiles... Where am I not being understood?

If you have a better suggestion for how to deal with murderous, armed, & hostile kids... Share it with the international community so they can immediately implement your methods to save these children held against their will & made to club their parents to death & become terrorists in their own homelands.

Understand this however... We are all accountable for our choices & our actions from the moment we exercise choices that we have. Don't want to kill, then you except death. Want to live, then you have to kill. It is a choice, no matter which way you want to throw a moral compass into it. They rather kill others than be killed... They made a choice, so they are responsible for that action.

This is the world we live in. This is fact. I am sorry It's not the perfect place where civilized talking will iron all this out, but those times are passed once people actively decide to take life as aggressors & not in defense.

Eastreach In reply to JaeDub003 [2012-05-07 12:58:03 +0000 UTC]

thanks for the essay i wasnt suggesting an action plan, nor was i implying that now these kids should still be forgiven. i asked about the charity's aims because i didn't understand them. we got into this moral business later on (at which point our discussion became less about Kony and more about the blame).
i disagree that we are accountable for the choices we take, especially in your example: because what kind of a choice is that? live a murderer or die. a choice is nothing, its the effects that we care about. in this case the choices limit the person; there is no good option there. the children cant be held accountable for that, if Kony hadnt forced them into the army they wouldnt kill or be killed. dont you think even partial blame is on Kony?
my opinion is that the children shouldnt be villainised, even if they are guilty of murder. they kill because they are told to (as with all soldiers!). Dont get me wrong here, im not an idealist. However this matter is not black and white of who's right and wrong. the majority of the blame is on Kony to me. If you dont share that opinion, so be it.

JaeDub003 In reply to Eastreach [2012-05-07 13:40:59 +0000 UTC]

Villainized? That means there are heroes? Look, those are idealistic ideas & views. Of course Kony is to blame & to be held accountable as a war criminal, as should every individual who aids him, continues to fight on behalf of him, & supports him, regardless of being conscripted or not. Blame Kony all you want, you will have a damned hard time getting to him with his toy soldiers in place, which is the purpose of having an army to begin with. Am I saying he isn't to blame? Is that what you read? Is it clear yet I am not on his side in this?

The idea is to prevent it from happening again, & to have stopped Kony & his forces now. Surrender is always an opinion for conscripted soldiers to be then placed on trial by their peers. They should not be excused for their deeds as it seems you are suggesting. They made a choice, regardless how bad it is, they made it & need to own it. People suffer & have bad lives, & horrible deaths all over the world, but they own up to their lot in life... its how things are. Period!

Don't like the reality of what I am saying? You don't have to respond or read it. In fact, I heard block is also an option here frequently abused.

Eastreach In reply to JaeDub003 [2012-05-07 15:04:19 +0000 UTC]

villainized just means 'seen in a negative light', not that they were once heroes. Youre taking my words to literally, i am not saying they should be excused! i have stated that. i was talking about terms of fault, which is entirely hypothetical and shouldnt have an affect on the actions of the troops. and dont think im such a child that i would block you! in any case i think we should stop this discussion, i respect your views but im afraid we arnt getting getting anywhere. have a nice life
