This piece is based on Greek lore , goddess of hunt. picked red hair because i think redheads look very strong and it balances out the green tones background
It's painted a little rough, wanted to change it up bit from my usually more rendered works

Exactly how I would imagine her, I love the red-head aspect (RED-HEADS UNITE). Though her colour is silver, via the moon's rays, it still looks beautiful!

I love the piece but I have to say, in mythology Artemis was portrayed in silver while her brother Apollo was gold. Moon and son aspect.

Wikipedia. Bin nach der Suche von mythischen Waffen, beziehungsweise Bogen Waffen, auf ihn gestoßen. Dabei habe ich gelernt, dass Apollon der Zwillingssruder von Artemis ist und genau wie sie hat er auch eine Bogen. Dabei suchte ich in erster Linie nach der Existenz des Epeiros Bogen aus dem Film "Krieg der Götter" und musste feststellen, dass dieser nur eine Erfindung von Hollywood ist und nicht der griechischen Mythologie entstammt.

I liked this "rough" style more, actually, suited her and this palette you picked. The brush gave a tradicional-ish feeling for this piece. Great work!
