So I have a fan of my art who leave the best comments ever. Very detailed and specific so to the point that I have become a better artist because of her evaluations. Because she has so helped me I have asked to give he a gift of her choice art wise and she choose Merle from Escaflowne. I hope every one likes this but this one is for Otsuyu. aww i love it! escaflowne was one of my fave series and they pulled it off the air....stupid networks. i never got to see the end. :tear: but this looks nice, i like it with the bg. wish the hand wasn't so close to the left side of the page tho. other than that it looks great; the shading/highlighting on the hair and puffs is spot on

thats to bad they pulled it... without the ending its hard to understand, i hope you get to finish it sometime. I own it all so if you ever find urself in Kansas swing by and we'll finish it.

Nice! But doesn't Merle have orange/pink hair? Bah, I prefer purple anyway. Love how you did the skirt, by the way. It looks alot like tanned leather, with the fur intact.

I like the picture itself, but I think the photo takes away from it. It is VERY hard to make a drawing with a photo background look good, even if you're a pro. I suggest actually drawing the background or perhaps even using a simple gradient. Otherwise, however, I really like the picture. Great use of colors.

yeah I hear you i didn't feel wonderful about the backgropund in this one but i still like doing real pics it makes it for me feel part of reality if you understand I'm still tring to mold this style but thanks for ur comments and believe me i know how hard it is to make art look like it belongs in photography.
